About Gospel Road

No denomination. Just the Good News.

Gospel Road is an online Southern gospel radio station broadcasting from Corinth, Mississippi. We play the music that has carried believers through hard days and happy ones for generations: the quartets, the family groups, the convention songs, and the hymns your grandmother sang over the dishes.

We don't belong to any one denomination. Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Church of Christ, non-denominational, or still searching: if you love the gospel in song, you're family here.

And we don't sign off. Gospel Road plays 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, holidays and 3 a.m. included, because hard nights don't keep business hours.

Every one of us is traveling a road. Some stretches are sunshine and some are storms. The gospel is the good news that the road leads home, and the trip is a whole lot better with a song.

1 Corinthians 2:2

Did you know? The Apostle Paul wrote two letters to the church at Corinth, and in the first he pleaded with believers not to split into camps. We broadcast from Corinth, Mississippi, so you'll find his words to Corinth all over this site.

24 hours · 7 days · 365 days

We never sign off.

Plenty of radio stations used to sign off at night. Gospel Road won't. The music plays every hour of every day, because somebody always needs it.

Right now it's evening in Corinth. Starting October 26, there will be gospel music playing at this hour, and every other one.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.

What you'll hear

The old songs. The new songs. The Good News.

Southern gospel is the sound of the country church: tight harmonies, a piano that means business, and songs about where we're headed.

  • Quartets

Tenor, lead, baritone, and bass: the heart of Southern gospel.

  • Trios and family groups

Brothers, sisters, and cousins who have been singing together since the church pew.

  • Classic hymns

The songs in every church's hymnal, sung the way you remember them.

  • Soloists

One voice, one piano, and a song that goes straight to the heart.

  • Convention songs

The lively shape-note songbook favorites from singing schools and all-day singings.

  • New releases

Today's Southern gospel from the groups on the road right now.

What you won't hear: denominational debates, or anything you'd mind having on when the preacher stops by.

I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

1 Corinthians 14:15

How to listen

Turn your radio on.

No radio needed, actually. Listening is free and easy: no app, no account, and no cost.

  1. Tap “Listen Live.”

It's at the top of every page. Starting October 26, one tap starts the music.

  2. The music starts right here.

It plays in your web browser, with no app to download and nothing to sign up for.

  3. Keep it playing.

Lock your phone, keep browsing, or turn it up. Gospel Road keeps right on going.

Where you can listen

  • On your phone

iPhone or Android. Save Gospel Road to your home screen and it opens with one tap, just like an app.

  • On a computer or tablet

    Any web browser will do.

  • In the car or truck

Play it from your phone through Bluetooth, an aux cord, Apple CarPlay, or Android Auto.

  • For someone you love

Put Gospel Road on the home screen of a parent's or grandparent's tablet, and it's one tap from then on.

Is this AM or FM? Neither. Gospel Road is online radio, so if you have internet, you have Gospel Road. Streaming uses roughly 30 to 60 MB of data an hour, so Wi-Fi at home is best.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17

Prayer requests

How can we pray for you?

Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone. Send us your request and we'll lift it up to the Lord.

  • You send it. Only the request is required. Your name is up to you.
  • We pray. Every request is read and prayed over.
  • We keep it private. We never sell or share your information.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Give to the ministry

Help keep the music playing.

Gospel Road is free for everyone who listens, and we intend to keep it that way. Gifts cover what it takes to broadcast around the clock: the streaming service, music licensing, and equipment.

Before October 26, every gift helps us sign on. After that, it keeps the signal strong at 3 a.m. for someone who needs it.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7

No pressure and no gimmicks. Give as the Lord leads.
